Food technologist, Ssnif – Sensory Service Nose Index Factory
SSNIF sas is a start-up born due to the research project of CNR IVALSA of Catania, within the public call n.1/2012 PO FSE SICILIA 2007-2013, with the goal of offering services, consulting and supports about sensorial science to the local companies.
Sensorial analysis is a discipline that links the manufacturing activities with the consumers because “uses” the sensorial receptors of human as anaytical instrument for the evalution product characteristics (food, drug, cosmetics, packagin materials).
Ssnif works acording to international and national standards (ISO,EN,UNI) that can involve professional panelist or trained general consumers (consumer science).
